Argentina Coral

Argentina Coral recorded her first rumba Marina in 1961, a big hit which, through massive radioplay, became essential at every party. She was one of the first performers who updated classics and popular hits in her own rumba gitana style. Checkout her version of Ramona, a classic made famous by Louis Armstrong and The Blue Diamonds. During the rest of the sixties she became one of the more popular flamenco artist and kept recording for the Belter label until way into the seventies.
